This banyan tree has been growing here for what seems like an eternity. And as our family tree thrives as well, we enjoy taking pictures in front of it to document the passing of time. We have pictures of my grandparents with my sisters and me when we were quite young and here we snap another shot of the next generation contentedly exploring this sacred tree.
If you’ve ever explored a large banyan, you come to see it is like an enchanted forest inside itself.
We headed out to go see Clyde Butcher’s Gallery in Venice.
After checking out the art, we decide to stroll the beach.
And enjoyed some ice cream!
Then we went for a scenic drive.
Off on a walk to go see the eagles.
This year there are two babies in the nest!

We all had a lot of fun heading into Fort Myers to play at the Imaginarium.

to the Shell Factory! (a tourist trap off Tamiami Trail)
